Step-By-Step: How The Site Flow Works
- Check in and weigh in: Pull onto the weighbridge and provide your company, vehicle and waste details. We capture everything for your Duty of Care note.
- Tip in the directed bay: Follow signs and the banksman to the correct bay. Tip safely and keep clear of plant. Ask if you’re unsure—our team will guide you.
- Weigh out, pay and collect paperwork: Return to the weighbridge, weigh out, settle your bill and take your receipt/Duty of Care note. Turnarounds are quickest outside peak times.
Accepted Materials (And What’s Not): Keep It Clean, Save Time
We accept most trade wastes and recycle wherever possible. Keeping materials clean and separate speeds your visit and supports our high recycling rate.
- Commonly accepted: mixed construction waste, timber, soil, hardcore/rubble, scrap metals
- Keep separate: plasterboard (gypsum), clean green waste, clean hardcore/brick/concrete
- Not accepted on site: asbestos, fridges/freezers, gas bottles, liquids/paints, tyres
Unsure about a material? Check what you can and can’t put in a skip. For hazardous or unusual items, see special wastes and call in advance so we can advise.
Vehicles And Access: What We Can Accommodate
Vans, pickups, tippers and small trailers are welcome. Very large or unusual vehicles should call ahead to confirm access and turnaround space. Loads must be secure and sheeted where required.
Follow site signs and staff instructions at all times. Reverse only under guidance where directed. For bulky or high-volume waste streams, consider roll-on/off containers delivered to site.

What Happens To Your Waste: 99% Recycling In Norfolk
At our licensed site we use mechanical and hand-sorting to recover timber, metals, soils and inert materials, minimising residual waste. This reduces landfill and supports local sustainability goals.
We also produce quality recycled aggregates, including Type 1, 6F5 and screened topsoil, for collection or delivery. See our recycled aggregates for current products. Using a licensed local recycler supports ESG commitments and keeps your projects compliant.

FAQs
Do I Need To Book Before I Tip?
No booking is needed for standard loads. For very large, unusual or any hazardous items, please call ahead so we can advise and minimise waiting.
What Documents Do I Need?
Bring your company details, vehicle registration, job/site address and a brief waste description. If you have a waste carrier registration number, bring that too. We create your Duty of Care/Waste Transfer Note at the weighbridge.
Can I Mix Plasterboard With Other Waste?
No. Plasterboard must be kept separate. If mixed with general waste it can’t be processed correctly and may cause delays or higher charges.
What Are The Busiest Times?
Mid-morning is usually busiest. Arrive early or mid-afternoon for the quickest turnaround.
Do You Take Commercial Green Waste?
Yes, if it’s clean and free from soil, metal or plastics. Keep it separate from other waste for quicker tipping and better rates.
Can You Handle Asbestos Or Pressurised Cylinders?
No, these are not accepted on site. Please contact a licensed specialist for safe removal and disposal, or call us for guidance on next steps.
